Death and grief are part of the continuum. The illness and death of a child is unnatural and impacts the entire family for years to follow. Bereavement support for children and their parents is critical to the healing that ideally occurs following the death of a sibling/child. The Foundation funds the specialized work of The Children’s Room which provides bereavement support and resources to children who have lost siblings or parents and the adults who care for them.
